I live in Glasgow and began studying Fine art at Edinburgh College of Art/University before changing to complete a MA(Hons) in History of Art (Glasgow University). More recently I gained a Master of Theology degree (research) at Glasgow University with my thesis on The Mysticism of William Sharp (1855-1905) and the Celtic Renascence. I am currently studying for a PhD on The Christian Art of William Hole (1846-1917) at Glasgow university. I am a qualified Teacher of Art and have taught in primary and secondary schools. I have published several articles on art and religion. My paintings, writing and poetry reflect my love of mystical subjects and I come from the Christian tradition with my faith being Roman Catholic.
